Rose of Jericho

The Rose of Jericho is a natural desert plant (commonly Selaginella lepidophylla or Anastatica hierochuntica) known for its remarkable ability to curl up dry and unfurl again when placed in water—an effect that can be repeated many times.

In folk and metaphysical traditions, the Rose of Jericho is often associated with renewal, fresh starts, and home blessing rituals.

How to use: Place the dry plant in a shallow bowl with about an inch of water. Within hours it will open; remove from water after a few days and allow it to dry between uses.
